This TechNet Computer Resources is an excuse of a puny unprofessional thief of a company that blames their theft on a person instead of owning their own dishonesty of stealing online. They (the company, TechNet) stole from us as well. Stay away from their sinking ship.

We also have had an extremely bad experience with Cody Patzer and his so called IT service company TECHNET COMPUTER RESOURCES. We first ran into problems when we asked for a criminal record check for him and his employees, we were met with opposition and one was never produced.(We know why now!!!) He sold us a server that was over 10 years old at an inflated price, it never worked as promised, sold us a printer at twice the value of retail and found out it was also 10 years old tried to sell us toner cartridges at over 100.00 more than retail, found out the cartridges were almost impossible to find or fill. took control of our office with his format and it service that did not work, our staff emails did not work properly. Charged us 6000.00 for a web page did not work properly then shut it down with a negative slogan on it. Slandered our services publicly and intimidated staff.

We have also problems with Cody Patzer and TechNet Computer Recourses also, there are a multitude of problems with his services and promises for services. We are still dealing with getting our office to run properly even after we basically fired him and discontinued with the equipment and It service. We will be going into litigation and criminal charges are being laid.

This guy is a scam artist you should report any thing to Edmonton City Police. They have a huge file on him and he is currently involved in several criminal proceddings.

He sends text messages claiming to be a lawyer at 2 am. Contact whatever law firm he claims to be and let them know what poeple are doing with thier name and reputation.

Cody Patzer did a chargeback on a CC payment to us 3 months after the fact. Delivery was obviously complete, however the CC company ruled in his favour and he told them he had no dealings with us. We lost ~$3,500 and have no feasible recourse other than civil court.

I trust his bad behaviour will see him convicted of Fraud and only wish he was convicted sooner. Cody Patzer from Alberta is a dishonest person and does not deserve any consideration for employment, social services, or welfare. Sold us a server that looked like it came from WW2 and then charged us over 10K for services and support for our IT and website. Hello all. We are the originators of this VERY ongoing and VERY extensive string. We use this platform to report all online fraudulent false claims against us on eBay, Amazon, or on either of our online sites, www.ITPartStore.com (Canadian), or www.ITPartSource.com (USA). However, we are very overwhelmed by receiving these continuous dealings from this very obvious above $5k theft of a criminal within Canadian law. However, our claim is only within a few hundred dollars and it is taking our in-house staff repeatedly almost daily from our multiple locations to explain this that is costing us too much now from a year back from the induction of this to now. Can someone of more claim significance start a proper crown/ criminal (obviously class action movement) towards this heavy weighted criminal. He goes to court in Edmonton on February 15th at 9am, Room 356. The charges that will be addressed are several counts of fraud, criminal harrassment and breach of conditions.

Go to albertacourts.ca Click on the tab for contact. There is a number for the contact centre that provides court administration and services. This is a public service. The number is 1-855-738-4747. Press promp #2 for criminal information. They will give you the court dates, times, room number and charges. It is public information and a public service. Sometimes the wait time is a bit long, but be patient and you will get thru. So far, he has two court dates. February 15 and March 11. Hope this helps everyone who is a victim of his harrassment and scamming.

I wish I would have seen this thread sooner, this guys just scammed me out of $900! Told me he could wire our office and then ended up cutting the alarm wires and phone wires, but could not fix it. Cost me over 1000 to have another company come and fix Cody's mess! This guys is a DOUCHE and should be in jail!

Just to update everyone. His preliminary hearing is still on for April 29th at 9AM. Edmonton courthouse - Room 355. I was told even know this is a premliminary hearing - it still could go to trial on this date depending on witnesses, etc. He was in court on April 5th and plead guilty to an outstanding traffic offense (distracted driving). He was ordered to pay a fine for this charge. He has 2 more outstanding traffic offences that he goes to court for on June 24 & 27.

A date for this will be set in a week or two. Good news, as it means there is enough evidence to move forward and have him tried. He plead guilty to 5 counts of credit card fraud , one count of criminal harassment. He was ordered to pay restitution to the employer he stole over $10,000.00 from. He was given a summary conviction, and while he won't go to jail if he follows his conditions, there is now way he does, he is a criminal, and can not make money unless he is ripping some one off. We had this guy come to our 711 store as a tech from FieldNation. He showed up looking like he just crawled out of the dumpster. I am the owner of the store at 17 St. Anne Street in St. Albert. He left me his business card so I searched his name after he left. First thing I came across was this. I can confirm everything here. We are missing some items from our staff room. Cant say it was him for sure, but its the first time we have had a theft in our store staff room. The cheque was cashed two days later and a second transaction of $50 was withdrawn from my bank account the same day. I phoned my bank to find out that "someone overwrote the 3 with a 5 on the cheque." Cody has committed the crime of forging a document which will be reported to Cst. Perreault of the Edmonton Police Service. This is a crime that you do not do to neighbors, friends or anyone else. I knew of his background and that he could eventually do something like this to me. He offered in the past to fax a document for me which had my SIN on it. DO NOT trust this man to be in your house or have access to your credit card/SIN number. He is a fraud artist. Once trust is broken, it can never be regained.

Please let us know how the police investigation goes. His parents will run out of lawyer money sometime.

I seen Cody tweakin down town last night.

This Cody dude cost my thousands of dollars. Him and his buddy chance were to fix my server. He called the office the next day asking for a deposit for parts he had to order. A few days later be stopped the server back at our office saying it was fixed. I was not in the office so reception just took his word for it and paid the remainder of the bill. When i got to the office i found the server sitting in the back room without any power plugged in. Even i tried to turn it on would not come on. Tried calling him over 20 times no answer then blocked.
