| Details: | Buyer immediately filed chargeback with credit card company after sale and then texted me a phishing link hidden in a message which read: "Message Content: Dear Valued Scotiabank cardholder,Due to some encountered issues with your account.Please follow the link below and sign in to validate your identity." The website is a forgery of a Scotiabank website and it asks for credit card number, date of birth, PIN, CVV, address, personal verification questions, username, and password. The phone number used is 613 869 4582. Phone number used to register phishing link is 519 391 8266. |

The phishing link used is authm1scotiax1 dot com. A real website would stop you at entering a fake username and password. This web forgery does not validate usernames and passwords, so it leads you directly to another form asking for date of birth, credit card number, credit card expiry, CVV, PIN, mother's maiden name, and address. After you fill all that in with junk data, it leads to another page asking you for three personal verification questions. Once you are finished, it redirects you to the legitimate Scotiabank website domain in an attempt to put you at ease.
