| Details: | Buys volt meter, contacts us that it is broken, agree to full refund on receipt. Guy then immediately starts ebay case against us, Paypal freeze our account can not buy or sell - great!! Eventually manage to get some funds to Paypal to release account. Checkout meter and find it has be deliberately connected a high current to burn coils out. Checkout what this guys sells on ebay - surprise surprise he sells another brand of voltmeters. Deliberate & successful attempt to wreck our sales and leave negative feedback - avoid at all costs, the very worst of ebay - reported to ebay - they do nothing - still selling on ebay. |

Although this account is quite old now I do remember this seller and the item he was selling. The meter in question was one of two that I purchased from this seller. This example did not work out of the box. I did contact the seller before opening a case but he was very abusive and basically accused me of deliberately burning the meter out. I’ve been an electrical engineer for over thirty years and I know how to use a volt meter. By the very definition a volt meter is a high impedance instrument and so not susceptible to high voltage over current within its operating range This seller is the worst kind of nasty and would be best avoided. His comments on this site make my point nicely.

I am not a seller but a buyer and I have purchased goods from joemorphia, when the item went wrong almost 8 months after the initial purchase date I contacted him and he immediately told me to return the item, I did and he replaced it straight away with a new one, without any fuss or argument, even though the cost of the item in question was £212. I have only good things to say about this buyer/seller and hope that anybody reading the original comment disregards it as a disgruntled seller. I would recommend joemorphia/jonathan English to anyone who wants to deal with a genuine seller who cares about their customers.
