This is the new name this scammer has tried to scam me out of $930.00 and was trying to force me to send it by fed ex saying my money is sent and in my hands. Meanwhile I have auto deposit and nothing came in but a email that’s written on a computer saying I’m to verify the tracking number after it’s sent to receive my money. It traces back to a gmail address. I told this person that I’m reporting it to police. They have a photo of a older women but no profile on Facebook, only fake account.

I was messaged by a man named Steve Haurey on Facebook (No profile). He wanted to buy the iPhone I was selling but have me ship it to the same address as well. I said I would only if he e-transferred me the cost of shipping and the product beforehand, but he never did and insisted I purchase a $300 Steam gift card to put in the box with the phone because he was giving it as a gift.

I obviously said no and told him he could purchase the gift card via the website himself. He ended up never sending me payment and I never sent him the phone.

Looked up the name and address he provided and then I stumbled on this page. Hopefully this will help others in the future!

When you are selling over the internet, never send anything without receiving all the money first. And never buy gift cards for them...that is a way for them to get money in an untraceable form.
