Not sure if this is all one person but my partner was scammed on kijiji threw PayPal the same way, told him he would buy his Native Instruments music equipment for $3200 sent a fake receipt to our PayPal email address, my partner sent the package threw UPS and it cost us $300. After I did some research I figured out that the email was fake, the address was a drop shipper and the cell phone number he was using was a phone number router in Toronto....... why do people have to be such garbage.

Also trying to scam me now, under the name Robert Martin. This probably won't help in the future as this scammer will change his name.
I suspected something was up since he was using an Ontario number to communicate. Sent me 'payment' as a scam email Paypal notification.
I've reported this address to the Surrey authorities, hopefully they will investigate this address.

This business tried to buy luxury goods using my financial information last night - they left all of their info behind on the website which lead me to this business. I’ve reported them to the local police and PayPal.

This lowlife tried to scam me out of luxury shoes that are for $1000 through Kijiji. He/she/they contacted me from 3 different #'s. Each attempt was to try to ship/mail them out of province. Including the address above in Surrey, they also used 26 Boxwood Ceresent, Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 4X9. They claim that they'll send you the money through interac e transfer but you just get a low budget shady email with intera e trasfer logo and amount.

My son got two phones on e bay to sell ad this woman called Joyce Adeyemi Opeyemi told to send her a paypal request for payment, so I helped my son, she confirmed by email she paid, I was reading in a rush and could not believe that paypal was holding the payment and asking for tracking number that are the new norms, with coronavirus going on I said, maybe things changed, I cannot focuse these days with covid... well we shipped ups and even helped my son to ship but after contactin on the chat paypal they told us the money never enter pay pal so when I copy and paste them all the feedback from them pay pal said that is not them, that i have to report to paypal, they know but they do not really put any list of scammer so we are so blind. thanks God I sent it with UPS despite this lady suggest to use USPS 2nd day, I reroute the 1000 usd phones back, lesson learned.

I got scammed by him under the name of david jones. had to ship my ps4 on kijiji to him in british columbia he told me he was going to pay before i ship it but then the payment says it will be available when the item is shipped but then it was a fake email. Now i have no way to get my ps4 back...

I got scammed and lost $700

I’m so angry this piece of shit willaims brian chavis made me use the bitcoin atm machine in Vaughn mills as is business line etransfer in order for etransfer to get deposited in my account made me transfer twice $350 and told me the funds are pending with etransfer this only way to get all money back.
I do know how etransfer works but since was my first time selling item on kijiji thought maybe this how it works...
I called etransfer department they told me they don’t do such thing as asking for tracking shipment number, they told me I fully got scammed.

This William Chavis guys tried to get me yesterday on Kijiji. Don't engage any conversation outside Kijiji platform. Lucky enough I checked with one of my friend about e-transfer pending tracking info and such thing doesn't exist.

I told her I would not be sending anything until the money was e- transferred to me. While waiting to hear back I searched the address & found this forum...Thank gosh.

He wanted him to purchase a $500 steam gift card and provide a screenshot of the receipt upon purchase. Scammer got no money from us and the shipment is being returned to us. Don’t fall for it please when they offer you more than what the item is worth. RED FLAG

william chavis (interac scam) and john mitchell (paypal scam) both saying the funds are witheld until i provide a tracking number for my bakcpack i was selling on kijiji. assholes out there. watch out. I called them both out since the emails 'paypal' and 'interac' were missing a few details.

Doing an address lookup on the internet led me to this page. I'm sorry to hear so many people have been scammed by this lowlife piece of crap. I hope someone gets their hands on him soon.
