Details: | Buyer made multiple offers on a Goyard handbag, which will go through eBay Authenticity Guarantee where it is sent to an authenticator to ensure it's not counterfeit, finally submitted a decent offer, won then paid. Then replied to my congratulatory message by asking if I had the original receipt (it's NOT ALLOWED to ask for extra stuff not included in the listing AFTER YOU BUY) and whether the item is authentic. Why purchase at all if you're going to ask AFTER YOU BUY? Says she only wants it "if it's authentic". Um, if you don't trust eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program, WHY DID YOU BUY IT? I reply back asking these same questions, then tell her since she's having second thoughts, please cancel. Not only did she refuse to cancel, she sent me an extremely nasty, insulting, snippy, snotty message telling me what a high end shopper she is, how dare i tell her she shouldn't buy things if she's unsure, how dare i suggest she should trust eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program (um, because it exists to soothe paranoid psychos like you, that's why, that's the entire point!) only she has the right to decide what she buys, she absolutely will not cancel. Reported her twice to eBay, once for demanding something not in the listing after she purchased the item and a second time for sending me abusive messsages. ebay did nothing; they forced me to sell to this abusive, paranoid psycho or forfeit my $245 in final value fees if i canceled the order myself. |
