I received the same message this morning on a $750 Macbook from another new account at the same address. Very frustrating call with eBay to explain situation to them. All they need to do is put a mail filter in place to prevent these from being sent if that address is included. I also submitted reports to Newark, DE police department and USPS fraud department. How can this have been going on for over a year at this same address?!

This happened to me yesterday,(7-14-19) same address, different persons name. Same story, dad was in hospital. What they do is go through recent sales of computers, iPhones or whatever they are looking for and then contact the seller through EBay.
I called EBay on this and they had already deleted the account. They had created the account the same day as they had tried to pull this scam.
Always send your sales to the EBay & PayPal address given.
My only question now is since this seems to have gone on for quite awhile, why hasn't EBay reported this address to the local authorities. They change names, whether real or not, but the address is always the same.

This Just happened to me... I Sent my item to these crooks, $90.00...Could have been MUCH WORSE.
It sounded fishy to me, as well. I didn't check with the buyer, before sending it. So I learned a painful lesson.

Ive done the same...reported to USPS Fraud Department....Police Department in Newark, Delaware. Ebay Seller Protection wont stand behind me, because I sent it to an unconfirmed address. NOT the Billing address. Sure wish I had googled the address before shipping! I feel like a moron, for falling victim to this scam. I sure wish I could do something to keep this from happening to anyone else! Its been going on for a few years....and apparently Ebay doesn't care about our loss....(despite taking 10% of our sale) I'm disgusted at Ebay for NOT intervening, to prevent that address from being sent in our message's. They have a filter to NOT allow Email address's. Must be something they could do to prevent Bogus shipping address, as well.

I got very similar message on 9/15/19 from a brand new ebay user who was asking to send a $1950.00 item to the address above. The new user which is different than the ID above never purchased anything from us and in the message it shows is located in MD

Same scammer, same attempt to get me to ship an expensive camera to same address. Good thing I didn't. Obviously the postal service and the Newark, DE Police have done NOTHING to stop this.

This address is used by freight forwarder who is sending items in Georgia (Country not state) , many users of this forwarder trying get everything free of charge.

Had this happen to me the other week on a hardback worth thousands of dollars. Same address. Different name. However, what is weird is that they created a new account, messaged me, said it was an error, and they would return my item??? Why go through the hassle of messaging me back? Needless to say, I never received the item back.

Thanks." He gave the name Aleksandre Javakhishvili, 2213 Ogletown Rd unit B # P-Pon 73768, Newark, DE 19711. user name was rususa85 with zero feedback if it matters. I was very tempted to mail him some dog poop but didn't want to pay for the shipping lol.
