We shipped their order with a valid tracking number and the order was successfully delivered but the customer claimed that they did not receive it. We use Shopify and this person's order was flagged as potentially fraud but we still fulfilled it because we thought he was genuine. Obviously he was not and I am sure he tried this trick on other shopify stores too.

Same this happened to us. We sent him a package with a "signature required" option. He signed it and still came back to us and said he did not receive it.

He just scammed our business as well! Sent our a second package with a required signature and after he said he didn't receive it we know something more was up. So happy to have found this thread.

We also saw this issue with agrantis@live.com. We blocked him from purchasing with us using Fraud Filter. it's a free app on Shopify that can automatically cancel any order that he places!

We just have the same issue here. We sent the first package via USPS, he claimed he haven't received it so we sent the 2nd package via Fedex. Of course, he claimed he haven't received it either. I'm relieved that I found that it's not my fault and it's actually a scammer. I'll try to flag him in Shopify on my end too.

We have also experienced scamming by this person. We received an order by this email and refused to send it after reading these reports. An order for $400 was then placed under a different name (Chris Radaker) for the same address (1 Ampere Street
Pittsburgh PA 15212). We sent with USPS signature confirmation, someone signed it under this name and received the package. The person then claimed they had not received it.

I am currently filing a report with Shopify to see if I can get him banned from small business stores. Please be careful if you see any of these names on your orders

he has attempted to do this to us twice. First time was last year and we refunded him as as goodwill gesture after the Fed Ex claim was denied. This time I will inform my manager not to.

He has also taken us for a ride on EBay with 15 refunds on 15 orders. He has been reported to EBay.

Grant Savory tried to rip us off for $175 in food products. The UPS tracking information shows that Grant received the order in person on 09/03/2021 at 2:57 PM at 1 Ampere Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. He must be tracking the order, using a dummy address, and meeting the driver there in person to pick it up like it's a dead drop. Luckily we confirmed with UPS that the Telematics GPS coordinates were correct for the delivery. We also opened a UPS investigation and he confirmed receiving the order to UPS. He used the agrantis@live.com email address and (412) 445-8107 phone number for the order. The order was not refunded. We have notified Shopify.

Don't be surprised when his bank withholds money for his order if you are smart enough to not refund this crook. That's what he did to us.

Grant Savory claimed he couldn't order via our website, now I'm thinking to bypass the fraud tools on Shopify, so we helped him place an order manually. He ordered $220 worth of candy from us. It was delivered with a valid tracking number and shown as delivered. He then claimed it didn't arrive. We checked with the USPS and they claim it was delivered to the correct address. We offered to reship, but he instead requested a refund. I issued the refund before finding this site and finding out that we were scammed.

A continuation on the "Grant Savory tried to rip us off for $175 in food products" post from above. Shopify has flagged all of his email and shipping/billing addresses. He failed in his chargeback attempt; Shopify just notified us and we got the chargeback fee reversed, too: "The customer’s bank [blacklisted word removed] the chargeback response and has sided with you. $189.44 will be returned to you in your next payout."

This person is still at it on Shopify. Just scammed our company by using the 3 emails grantsavory@rocketmail.com, agrantis@live.com and one other which I will include below since you are limited to posting 2 email addresses. Caught on the most recent one which they will not be receiving a refund for and will likely open a dispute but have plenty of evidence showing that these orders are fraudulently being claimed as not delivered. If you are able, please open a police report toward this person so they can't scam any other small businesses.

This person placed an almost $500 order with us in July 2023 and told us he did not receive it. UPS submitted a photo of proof of delivery and we were about to reship the order when we saw this thread. Big thanks to everyone above!

This guest asked us not to reship with signature confirmation, which was a huge red flag. Here's the information he used at checkout:

Shopify Fraud Analysis displayed as low. We set up a fraud rule for this guest and also added the other emails listed in this thread. We ended up telling the guest we would not reship his order and while he did not respond to our email, he did submit a chargeback a week later, which we unfortunately ended up losing.
