"Drop shipping scammer. They order expensive books in good condition then return a different book in poor condition."
This is exactly my experience. This has happened to me twice in the last month an a half. If you get an order from this address, cancel it.

Flat Rate Prep is not a drop shipper. They are an FBA prep service. What we have here are a few bad sellers who are disgruntled that they had their books returned because they misrepresented the condition of their books and they were returned.

This just happened to me. Book sent was a $45 book in great condition. Then get email that it is acceptable and it is returned. I get back an obviously damaged copy that wad not what was shipped. Returned in my shipping package with no damage.

They order a whole set of 16 books off of us, claiming that only 5 arrived but box was not damaged. We always bag our sets all together and tape several ways so if anything happens to the box in shipping the books will still be bundled. Sent back the 5 books, of course they did not match our photos... and the books from the set that are a little harder to find were not included. We did not give them a refund. But we are still out 11 books!! Is there nothing we can do?? Will definitely not ship to them again!

FLAT RATE PREP IS NOT A BUYER, it's an FBA Prep service. They are not the ones buying the books, their customers are. Please remove these comments, as you are hurting the good name of a good company.

To the last commenter, It is not the job of sellers to determine if the Amazon account used to purchase a book is actually the buyer. Their name is on it, they are the buyer and responsible for whatever the actual buyer does since they are their agent. A good company does not do business this way or expect sellers to know their business model. They put their name on it. It is their problem.

Also, I received a message from this account as well. Are you going to lie and tell us you allow the recipient of a dropshipped book the access to send a message from your account?

Just had one with the last name Roth, switched a brand new textbook in shrink wrap for a damaged copy of another edition. Just a FYI, most orders shipped to this address are fine, but SOME resellers use this service as a way to hide their real address when they do return fraud. Always photograph what you are sending to this address in case it ends up being returned damaged or swapped out.

Flat Rate Prep may not be the bad actor, but there are many people using their services for illegal doings. One goes by both the name "Andreia Marques" and "Deborah Winters" (probably has other alliances too) who drop ships obscene amounts of counterfeit textbooks. Do not buy from these people! Be very careful buying/selling through third party sellers, even if they appear to be vetted. Amazon (and most big platforms) are bad about not really following up with these people until enough customers complain and by the time anyone with any know-how realizes what's going on it's difficult to prove where the book originally came from.
