Details: | Buyer purchased 3 items. We agreed on set international shipping PRIOR to purchase. Buyer got items, opened a return case. In ALL messages demanded a partial refund on shipping and refund on “extensive” damage and if I did not comply they would leave me three negative feedbacks. Buyers complaint addressed shipping every time. She was not over charged on shipping. She then showed three pictures of a box that she pulled the tabs and claimed extensive damage.
This is the type of box that has tabs you tuck back in and it closes. Next round of messages/pictures shows a second box that was sealed when shipped, the picture showed it was open, no damage, folds, creases crushing or otherwise. I told buyer to tuck the flaps back in and put a drop of glue on the other lid.
Buyer continued to demand and threaten. I replied she was using feedback extortion and that is against eBay policy. Then she told me she was reporting me.
I also found out she had already listed the item I sold her on the same ID she purchased from me. Her listing said it was perfect. I called and reported her. eBay said in this case they would side with me but their hands were tied since the buyer is in Italy, I had to send a return label if I wanted to win. That would have cost upwards of $200 and I could not void the label if she didn’t use it I said forget it since I figured she had no intention to return b/c it was already listed. She stands to get a refund. She gamed the system and she knows shipping is more expensive to return that ship to.
I also looked at her FB left which proves the box damage and partial refund is her game. |
