Details: | Buyer was a stated collector of this pattern. Claimed breakage upon arrival, but when I asked for a photo so I could file a usps claim, she said the items had already been sent to recycling. However, she said, she would accept a $6 refund. Later when I didn't send her the $6, she filed a return claim with Ebay. So how was she supposed to return if it had already been sent to recycling??? I think she has probably done this before and will do it again. Just wanted a $6 discount on her pattern. I've reported her to Ebay. |

The chronology is very different from how it's presented here by cheriegal. I ordered 2 cups, 2 plates, and 1 pitcher: 5 items, for a total of about $32, or about $6 apiece. The pitcher's handle and part of the rim were broken upon arrival. The pitcher was not packed well enough.
I wrote and said I would be happy with a refund of 1/5 of the total cost (less than the cost of sending it back), and she agreed to send $6. So I put it out with the recycling, which was picked up that day.
Then (too late) she decided she wanted a photo, or wanted it shipped back to her after all.
Then, after another email, she wrote this: "I am refunding you $6. But I have contacted ebay, and they will be investigating your account to see if you have pulled this with any other sellers. My guess is that you have."
I have a 100% rating as a buyer at eBay. I would like to have this post removed. It isn't accurate, and there is no reason my personal information should be posted on this site.
