Recently ordered an item and this guy claimed it arrived broken. Was very abusive and obnoxious. Called eBay and was advised not to accept the return. Hopefully they will shut this guy down.

I was scammed by this guy too under his account name whynotless. Same MO. He said one of the two items He ordered arrived broken and asked for a refund. Both items were the same, and I accidentally refunded it on the wrong item. I opened a case with eBay, and they actually refunded him for the other item too even though he kept it. Has anyone tried to file a small claims case against him?

Why not a class action claim against him, it's to that point, he's scammed enough people. It's criminal.... maybe we should all start filing criminal complaints against him at his local police department.

This buyer leaves a lot of bad feedback for others. It’s abnormally high poor feedback. It’s up to EBay to continue with this buyer as such, though if so, it should be noted that eBay is visiting a predatory process on to their sellers.

This guy (call4deals - Joso eShop) had me ship to a midwest address. Claimed he never got shipment even though tracking said otherwise. Tried to intimidate me to refund. Eventually he tried to report through Paypal (not eBay). Can't believe eBay allows this guy to continue.

He is an amazon seller. Do a search for hotdealshop on amazon using google. His phone number is 571-247-4338.

Thanks to the last individual who posted. I found the item he 'didn't receive' at the midwest address in his Amazon shop at four times what I sold it for. PayPal doesn't seem to be interested in investigating nor does eBay. Item was a little under $100. He is now pursing a chargeback through PayPal. Scam artists like this hurt everyone.

Also should mention the shop name you gave hotdealshop may have another ID as well ShopiNet . The phone number is different (same area code) but the name comes back to this 'alleged' scammer.

This Whynotless just did the same thing to me. He purchased a VCR and had me send it as a gift (we all know this is a dropshipping red flag) he then said the VCR wasn't working and sent me back a different serial no vcr that was trashed. I called ebay and they said they could do nothing about it. If this buyer purchases from you run away as soon as possible. Better to cancel than to lose money.

Thanks. All your reports just saved me a lot of headache as this this person, using their new username, just bought something from me. I contacted Ebay and was told to cancel the transaction. Ebay sales transaction shows name as Thuhang Nguyen but delivery to the same 5022 Finsbury Road address is Jon William.

UPDATE: I sold this scammer a grill, and they have just opened a return case saying "doesn't work/defective." The grill was brand new in the package. No doubt they will attempt to return some random junk or a different grill. They won't be getting any money from me unless its forcibly taken by eBay. Will continue to update this thread

I purchased a coffee pot from this dude under the name TFLShop (Hoang Nguyen) on Amazon. Claimed it was very good condition like new needless to say a paid 200 for something that arrived broke and filthy. In the package itself there was coffee and watered splattered all under the bubble wrap. The pod chamber was GROSS. Very well used. He asked if I would take 30 to not return it hell no it’s not even worth 100. Amazon gave me all the return stuff so he is getting it back and he better return my money. I have documented everything pictures of everything. I knew after I received the coffee pot something wasn’t right. My husband goggled him and found all of this about eBay. FYI everyone he is on Amazon too!

To the writer of the last post. Hoang Nguyen listed this item in very good condition on Amazon. You purchased the item for $200 and then he found the cheapest one he could on eBay. He purchased that item on eBay and shipped it to your address. Sadly he will be returning that item to a seller on eBay or some other platform that was potentially described accurately as being imperfect and not perfectly clean. I dealt with this seller. He's definitely a scammer, so I don't recommend anyone to have anything to do with him. Also, at the expense of baths, this is not a joke at all. I've been scammed once on ebay (luckily for a low dollar item), and they always side with the buyer. It's sad to see how much positive feedback this person has, so deceiving. Glad I checked first before sending off my higher dollar item.

Called Ebay and spoke to a representative. I told them that this is a scammer and I have found evidence on the web and he’s also on blocked bidders on Facebook. Rep said to cancel under problems with shipping address and she filed an investigation on this account. She was quick to say I’m escalating this internal investigation department. I swear I thought I her gasped when She looked up the username. Hopefully this is the last straw and he gets booted. Thanks all for posting.
