Details: | Buyer sent message upon purchase stating they had issues with USPS/media mail and requested special packaging instructions, which I honored. Item was delivered in 2 days. The next day buyer requests refund claiming the shipping box was destroyed and the item was damaged. Requested pictures which the buyer took nearly 24 hours to send. After sending a message to the buyer noting that I would have to speak to eBay representatives prior to processing a refund or return, the buyer immediately initiated a charge back with PayPal. Buyer initially received the chargeback, but I successfully appealed the chargeback once presenting the facts to PayPal. Also discovered that the buyer was paying with a credit card with a different name on it. PayPal made the buyer send the item back, which was received without a name on the return address. Buyer also left negative feedback containing false claims, which was eventually removed by eBay. |
