Details: | Hello, Just wanted to share a bad experience I had with a Bad buyer on ebay, also hope it serves as a heads up to other sellers who may want to put this woman on a block list.
I sold a brand new wedding gown, never out of the bag that I had bought for personal use.
I sent it in a big box, inside of the dress bag and I added a couple extras, a brand new veil and a gift of a lil bumpkins figurine just to be nice.
She had the dress for a couple days and then left a message, with in 3 minutes of the message she opened up a item not as described case, saying the dress had stains, which was a out right lie!! What follows speaks loudly of her lack of character, shes not a very good person period.
The dress arrives back to me in a very small box, no dress bag, no wrapping nothing, no veil, no figurine, just crumpled dress in a box.
The dim wit did however put a piece of bubble wrap on top of it...lol... anyways, I am furious, and I take the dress out for inspection, besides the wrinkles from poor packing, there are two stains on the inside of the dress where someones butt or private area would be if you sat down in it, to me , looks like semen stains. disgusting right?
so here is what I beleive happened, she recieved it wore it, ruined it, and took total advantage of ebays buyer protection policy.
Also she did the exact same thing to two others on the same day, one was a pair of shoes that look like they could have went with my dress.
total scum bag,
hopefully this may save someone else a whole lot of headache and stress.
Thanks, |

Find out when she got married. Ebay may do nothing but fraud can be sued in small claims court. You sue her where the item was shipped from and not where she lives.
In small claims court you can't sue for your time or effort but can get interest. Let's say the dress was $100 and you have a receipt and photos showing new when you purchased it and proof that it was never used. I always take a picture of the item as I am putting it up to be mailed, after I receive postive feedback or after 60 days I delete it.
Anyway, you take pictures of the dress the way you received it and you file in small claims court for the cost of the dress, dry cleaning to bring it back to it's normal beauty.
The first thing you must do is send her a bill with the interest added on - I recommend 10%. You must either send it registered or with delivery comformation - to show that she has received it. She has 30 days to pay it. They usually laugh it off and throw it in the trash.
At the end of the 30 days of when it was received - not mailed you file in your local small claims court. She won't show - cause she is still laughing. Then you show your evidence to the judge and he AWARDS the judgement to you.
You take your judgement to the nearest collection agency and give it to them for collection. You normally receive 1/2. But you don't have to deal with her and you have the last laugh or her credit is ruined and she is no longer laughing.

Thanks for an interesting blog. What else may I get that sort of info written in such a perfect approach? I have an undertaking that I am just now operating on, and I have been on the lookout for such info.
