Purchased expensive cufflink: Philip Gavriel 18k Gold and sterling silver rectangular cufflinks to wear for a wedding. Item arrived a few days before wedding but quality was poor, open return case, return accepted. Decided to have item repaired instead as wedding was day away and notified seller. Sent quotes for return £40.00 and repair cost £30.00 mutually agreed to reimburse me £30.00 as it was cheaper for him.

Seller opened case as cufflinks were modified due to repair, ebay voted in his favour, went back on his word and refused to reimburse me £30.00.
