I got a message that a buyer wants their item or their money back because they never received the item. On Nov 4 the item was purchased at 11:30 pm ( I was asleep) Next morning I have a message from who I thought was the buyer asking me to send the item to their daughter as a gift. I was happy to accommodate. I purchased another shipping label and sent the item to another address. It was delivered on Nov 9. I did not realize until I got the request tonight that the message I got wasn’t from the actual buyer. Someone was watching my item and when it was no longer available ( sold) they sent me a message saying they just bought the item and wanted it shipped to their daughter as a gift. I don’t know if I’m more mad at myself for not paying more attention or the jerk face who scammed me. I’ve apologized to the actual buyer and refunded their money.
