Details:

Buyer purchased a brand new, factory sealed HP Desktop computer from our eBay store and opened a defective item case on the same day they received the shipment. Buyer claimed that besides the light turning on, the computer was a dud and not working. They did not try to contact us at all, went straight to eBay. We messaged them to ask how we can help with problem, but received no response. As per eBay policy, we had no choice but to accept return. Buyer shipped item back and we noticed the screw on computer case was different than usual. We proceeded to open up the CPU and found that the 2 DDR4 8gb ram had been replaced with cheap memory sticks. The 2tb hard drive was missing and the behind the cooling fan, the processor chip was also gone. This is fraud. We have a 100% good feedback rating. What will we gain by falsifying these claims? We have reported this buyer to USPS Postal Inspection, FBI Cyber Crime Division, and filed a police report in their respective city. This type of fraud is wrong and should not go unpunished.
