Details: | Buyer purchased a rather large tool set ($1200) and shipped it. One package made it to the address and was refused. The other package received a change delivery address request and was sent to an address in Hodgkins, IL. We caught this one before it was delivered and brought it back. The information above is most likely an innocent victim of fraud, with the exception of the phone number and email address potentially created by the person initiating the fraud. Seller beware: watch your shipping logs and realize that anyone can change the address on a UPS package at your expense without you authorizing it. Makes fraud way too easy. In this case, we got lucky and were only out $100+ for shipping charges. It could have been a lot worse. |
