You have to go beyond the buyer being able to simply scam you. There wouldnt be any scam if the buyer thought they couldnt get away with it. Its eBay and Amazon that allow this to happen. So they promote scams left and right and invite buyers into scamming people left and right. Sellers cant leave negative feedback, they have to pay for their return shipping, always finding new ways to scam people. If Ebay and Amazon were stricter in their policies, there wouldnt be any scams. Sellers including merchants have to stand up against PayPal, credit card processing companies and stop them from scamming us. If you take a credit card, you can get scammed from your own processor, so it all revolves around them. Any time you accept a credit card, or a payment service does, they are subject to the same types of scams banks allow their credit card members do
