I initially had numerous suspicions with this buyer:

- they had 0 feedback with this eBay id,
- numerous complaints connected with another account registered to the same name and address (3 issues within the last year on their eBay feedback, and 2 complaints on external websites),
- they sent me a message after winning the auction with very poor grammar and strange logic regarding when they could pay.

If it was only one or two of these red flags, I would have not been too concerned, but everything together was just too much for me to risk sending a $700 laptop. I have had issues in the past with hacked accounts and spoofed addresses on eBay, and am wary of doing business with buyers like this.

When I informed them that I would not ship the item and that they should not pay, they became very aggressive and refused to acknowledge my concerns, and in the end they left scathing feedback. I have never dealt with such a difficult and unreasonable person on eBay. What a drama! BEWARE!

Well lucky you didnt do it. And you should only ship to the confirmed address thats it. Report it to EBay and dont ship the product period! That so called $700 you just made would of been taken out of your account. EBay is full of scam artists both sellers and buyers a like. They targeted you because you had a high priced item. You know already you admit yourself that you have had past experienced from being scammed off eBay. Its obvious EBay doesnt do anything and they will give you the same lame old excuse saying they cant stop anyone and everyone, but they can! You should really consider another platform to sell you high priced items, Not to mention those scumbags at eBay wanting to steal 20% of what you make for nothing.
