Details: | Military address with domestic shipping, but went to United Arab Emirates. Claimed shirt had a hole and was fake Patagonia as he had "contacted Patagonia". Did not respond to my two messages for details of his Patagonia correspondence. Shirt was older made in China model, but authentic as many others are eBay. He submitted a picture of a hole under armpit with return request after not answering my first message. The hole was clearly not there in our eBay pics or when it was shipped. Buyer has been on eBay 2 years w/ 11 feedback. Never leaves feedback. This is the only fake claim we have ever received in over 2,000 sales. If there was a hole when it arrived, why would he go to the trouble of getting in touch with Patagonia about authenticity? Could have been a similar shirt he tore and was replacing. Could have made a hole in it by accident and then wanted to get $ back. All eBay requires is a picture with damage that looks like the item to rule in buyer's favor, they won't consider pictures of the undamaged item before it was sent, so seller will always pay, as I did and sent a nice message again with no answer from him. Others have had issues with APO to UAE searching the forums. |
