| Details: | AVOID THIS BUYER AT ALL COSTS! Unless you want nothing but headaches with her, unreasonable expectations and misuse of buyer protections along with the Ebay return policy. When the buyer was unhappy with the item (based on their unreal expectations of an ACCURATELY DESCRIBED BRAND NEW ITEM WITH TAGS) she tried to FEEDBACK EXTORT ME (threaten negative feedback) unless she received a DISCOUNT OF ALMOST 75%! This was even after I explained that I would be PAYING HER TO TAKE THE ITEM and offering readily to accept a return and refund the full cost of the item. I even originally OFFERED TO REFUND AROUND 50% of her cost to avoid having to deal with a return but she DEMANDED THE UNREAL AMOUNT OF AN ALMOST 75% DISCOUNT. Then as soon as apologetically said that I could not do that, but I would still GLADLY REFUND HER MONEY, upon returning the item, SHE PROMPTLY RETALIATED BY DROPPING ME NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. After which, she clearly stated that SHE WOULD REMOVE IT IF I GAVE IN TO HER DEMANDS! Fortunately, I stayed calm and got her to clarify exactly the idea that SHE WOULD TRADE REMOVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR RECEIVING MONETARY COMPENSATION. Eventually, Ebay actually did the right thing (AFTER MUCH PRESSURE and explaining the situation multiple times then asking to speak to a supervisor). They closed the case in my favor and removed the negative feedback forcing her to keep the item at full price. However, I don't want anyone to have to suffer the headache and unreasonable demands of A BUYER WHO CLEARLY BEHAVES IN VERY DISHONEST AND UNREASONABLE MANNER! |

The whole claim wasnt about the item, the fact is she wanted to rip you off. She wanted to see what you would do, and how much you'd give into her demands. Once she found out you offered 50% she said I want the whole 75%. Dont ever barter with a buyer, you set the price and thats it. She agreed to pay that price and leave it at that. If she didnt like the item, then tell her to return the item and thats that. Dont sit there and be so nice to buyers because your going to get screwed everytime. Be nice based on your policies, but dont give an inch. You dont know that bitch from a whole in the wall. See what being nice gets you.
Consider moving your store or opening a store on a marketplace store like ECrater or EBid, you can automatically import your items from EBay - you wont be subject to EBay's bullshit policies and lower your costs and have to deal with a more realistic way of doing business - not the eBay way. You'll never win that way with EBay because as you just found out they are buyer sided. Always was always will.
If that was an ECrater purchase or even yet, spend the $29 a month and open a PrestoStore.com account, they will pay for your Google Shopping Fees, and you'd get alot more traffic there. You dont have to worry about feedback just plain sales. And that so called Bullshit from that bitch would of never have happened.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I'm definitely keeping my options open as I have some issues with Ebay for sure. Either way I just wanted to make sure that people are aware of this buyer and can hopefully avoid her nonsense. Take care and thanks for the info.

We get scumbag assholes like this for buyers all the time. The whole point to focus on with buyers like that is the realization that there was nothing wrong with the item, they want to play the game into seeing how much she could get away with and how "free" she could get the item for. She tried to use feedback extoration against you to scare you and make you panic. For that reason you should report her to eBay and tell her point blank. Ebay probably wont do anything but it will show that your not going to take shit from assholes like that. --- Like we said, there should be one policy and thats it, people who want "discounts" are people that are trying to scam you and will come up with any and every bullshit excuse and lie to justify why they "deserve" a discount. When they demand a discount and use threats, its just a fraud tactic and there's really nothing wrong with the item. --- take your business off eBay is our opinion, eBay is getting more and more buyer sided, and now you have to pay for some morons return shipping, where does EBay get off doing that. The second a company thats sole purpose is to advertise your item, have the right to tell you how to run your business. The first indication you get something like that, run away. Ontop of that they want 25% of everything you make in addition to shelling out additional money. So its obvious everyone wants to fuck you over as a seller.
