Details: | Warning: Fraudster ahead! This guy registers an account with the online store and soon after sends a message pretending that he had placed an order 2-3 weeks ago. Indeed, he provides a fake transaction ID just to persuade the customer service. If the customer service makes things difficult for him, he changes the story and claims that his credit card has been stolen and somebody has used it to make a purchase at the online store. Afterwards, he claims a charge of small amount, and attempts to persuade the customer service to issue a payment through PayPal. He believes that some store owners may send him the small amount he requests in order to avoid to further exchange messages. Warning sellers: his email address is valid, but he may changes his name. We have reported him at Internet Crime Complaint Center (www.ic3.gov), Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) and PayPal so as to end his online career. |
