Buyer claimed I had sent her a pair of Coach loafers in the wrong color (she had selected black/gray at check-out and claimed I had sent her khaki/brown). She started a request for return on eBay and her tone was so sincere and professional...that without asking to take a picture and proof it...I took her by her word and accepted the return (in general, I have a no-return policy). When I received the item back today, I received exactly the pair back that she had ordered....in the correct color (black/gray)! When I researched her transaction history...I found that she had purchased the same Coach loafers in khaki/brown from another seller....and I wonder I she had intended to send them back to me, but then changed her mind??? I've been kind and apologetic to her, taking the blame from the get-go....maybe that's why she reconsidered sending me back different shoes? Not sure, but the audacity to make a false claim! Also, I sent her a pre-paid return label for $8.95, but haven't issued her refund yet. After speaking with eBay CS today, they advised to NOT refund her and escalate the case. But I don't want bad Feedback! Please contact me if you have any advice. Buyers like these SUCK! Is she doing this for a competitor? Please contact me with ANY advice....
