Bad Buyer: fwc_30 <thcdbio@hotmeil.33mail.com>

Details

Purchase date:April 2018
Buyer's name:CongYan Ni | Rong Shengxia
Buyer's username:fwc_30
E-mail:thcdbio@hotmeil.33mail.com
Buyer's address1140 River Road Apt 6973466, New Castle, DE 19720
Store:eBAY
eBay item #:253531413671
Buyer's country:Hong Kong
Payment method:PayPal
Category:Computers & Networking
Details:

Scammer purchased product from my eBay store. Same day the package was delivered, scammer opened "defective product" return request. I accepted return and provided free return label from Delaware to NY. Buyer used his own label and shipped return back from Hong Kong.

Buyer provided fake tracking number so that the package could not be tracked until after delivery. Buyer called eBay and provided correct tracking number showing delivery of package to my address. But I didn't received anything. Buyer was refunded automatically by eBay once the the package showed delivery to my zip code.

What buyer performed was the "Same Zip Code" scam. I Contacted USPS and was able to found out the package was addressed and delivered to a Pizza store 26 streets away from my address with same zip code.

Upon obtaining proof from the USPS, package showed 0 weight. Hence, this was a empty envelop. Currently, the buyer eBay account had been banned. To resolve this issue, it took hours and days and many many calls along with trips to police station to get a refund from eBay. But scammer got to keep the product for free.

This input is to document this scammer so that if he commits another scam, there will be a record for other sellers to see and avoid the horrible experience I experienced.

Thanks for your posting. I was contacted by someone using the same address which is actually a large warehouse occupied by a Chinese logistics company.

I had a buyer named (Peng Dong) from the same address try and buy a $150 computer part almost went through with the sale thank God this post was made. His E-bay account was at the time (pd373307665) and they are all using slightly different apt numbers to the same address. When I went to refund the money was the only time I could see his email address and it was something ridiculous like (username@qq.com) which I looked up and once again it was something related to China and the business in Delaware happens to be some sort of Chinese Logistics Center Company. With the purchase right away I noticed something fishy due to him adding a purchase message that stated and I quote (Note to seller: The mouse is not open。)
If you experience the same issue I would consider making a quick call to E-bay as I did in this situation and they told me to cancel the order immediately and they would investigate the buyer and take care of any negative feedback or any issues that would possibly occur.

Same issue here, so glad this comment was up. The address was too fishy, looks residential until you google it and see that its a warehouse (no way for an apartment to be there)!

Thank you so much for this. I thought that address was fishy as hell so I did some Googling and got to here. Canceled the transaction. What a completely waste of time.

Thanks a lot for this post. This buyer under a different username (lakimchi_0) with the same address bought my item for $955. I did a simple google map search on the address and I didn't find anything so I'm glad I found this post. You saved me a lot of trouble and heartbreak. Thanks again!

Same as all the sellers above - saved me heartache in the nick of time !!

Just dealt with this fiasco. Nightmare. eBay pulled the money from my account this morning to refund the guy. Same address. Same scam. Working with them to get refunded.

I am a user from China, this address is a warehouse of SF Express, a Chinese express shipping company, which help transfer goods from US to China. That company uses different Apt codes to identify different clients. Although some users may commit scam, please keep in mind that not all users use this address are suspicious, thanks (because I sometimes use this address as my shipping address as well:) ).

Posted 4 months ago by 172.69.X.X Report as SPAM

I work in this warehouse. Yes, it is SF Express and sends goods to China. Most people working here are scammers because that's what we Chinese people are. Though feeling shamed, we do it anyway because we can get away from it most of the time.

Posted 4 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

Exactly the same thing happened to me here. I only wish I'd seen this website earlier. :)

Same address: 1140 River Road in Newcastle, Delaware 19720, with a fake Apt number --all in keeping with the previous pattern. My buyer, voq.kug.hdrgugk, walked away with an Intel i7 7700K and the $350 that eBay automatically refunded him after he opened a defective product return request. Precisely the same MO--to the letter--as the OP. The only difference is that the USPS refused to give me the address the processor was "delivered" to, citing privacy laws.

Finally, eBay refused to refund my money, saying they have already closed the case and with tracking showing it was "delivered" somewhere in my zip code area, there is "nothing they can do but side in favor with the buyer."

Posted 4 months ago by 172.69.X.X Report as SPAM

This buyer bought four pairs of pants, after 30 days open cases for full refund, we send many message to him to try to solve the problem, but no reply. He just waiting ebay system refund.

Same address. Not to mention there is no first or last name, not to mention message was to inform me how to wrap a milk glass vase...really?

Thanks for the post! Buyer with Chinese name, no last name, listed this warehouse with a fake apt number. All together it seemed a little fishy, so I googled the address, found this post, and was able to cancel the order before payment was received. Thank god.

I am currently being scammed out of a $330 factory sealed Intel BX80684I78700K 8th Gen i7-8700K Coffee Lake 3.7 GHz LGA 1151 Processor by a buyer, qi.jpsh.qihboa, with the address

QinGeng his
1140 RIVER' RD, .
NEW CASTLE DE 19720.

The same exact thing happened to me as in the OP to the letter. Claimed product was defective, initially uploaded a fake tracking number, uploaded the real one 3 days after the item actually arrived, and I never received anything in the mail. eBay can't help me since the tracking shows "Delivered." Now I'm out $330. Beware!

I am selling some MacBook pros for my company. This buy bought all of them (23 MacBook pros!!!) and left this fishy apartment number, Apt 6367238. Seriously? After a simple username search online I found this site. Apparently, he would claim the items are defected after he receives the package. Then he would send empty boxes back. Smart, you Chinese scammers.

Posted 2 months ago by 172.69.X.X Report as SPAM

Yes, I just made a $350 sale on Ebay and typed in the address once I saw that the strange apartment number, I googled the address and found this post. Thank you, I will contact ebay now.

Just got scammed by this group myself, for a similar item, an Intel CPU. I'm out $400 and the part currently.

Posted 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

I’m pretty sure these guys just got me too for $300 Intel processor. I called eBay and told them to Google the address and I am pretty certain that I’m going to get scammed. And they said there’s nothing I can do at this time because they’ve already provided them with a return shipping label. I guess I have to follow police report and what night after I get back whatever they’re going to send me I don’t know what’s gonna happen

Posted about 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

everyone who deals with this place needs to call the postal inspectors. i have a open claim with this address currently as they just tried scamming me out of my intel CPU.
i had the local post office pick my package up quickly and i can’t say this enough please everyone that has a issue with them call the postal inspectors. just do a google search for the number.
more info for the inspectors the quicker we can get this place to stop scamming peopl
thanks

This is happening right now to me. Buyer of my Intel CPU from this address just opened up a defective item return. I called eBay before agreeing to the return and showed them this webpage. Sent my case right over to investigations. Don't know if anything will come from it.

eBay needs to protect its buyers and put this address on a blacklist so nobody can ever register with it again.

I forgot to post the ebay username, from my first comment, from 3 days ago, regarding an intel cpu for $300. The eBay username is navj-96 .

Buyer Submitted a return on 7/23/2019. The return tracking number shows no progress on tracking. I’m waiting for the inevitable fake track number to be uploaded to eBay. Once that happens I am prepared to file reports to police, postal inspector, ic3.com, etc.

i already forwarded eBay a link to this thread and reported the buyer for abusing the eBay money back guarantee by having the item shipped to a freight forwarder/ reshipper address.

Keep in mind you can also DM (private message) eBay support on Twitter to report at https://twitter.com/askebay?lang=en

Mention scammer navj-96 if you DM them, please. They will be able to see my reports.

******If anyone is dealing with this scam please remember to post the scammer eBay username here it will help aid in the appeal ********

Posted about 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

If anyone finds themselves with a pending returned item from this address, or any warehouse in an industrial park that might possibly be a forwarding center, call eBay, show them this page, and tell them that you agree the return on the condition that the buyer/scammer use the eBay-provided label, not their own. It will be a difficult thing for them to do if the package is already on its way to China, and they themselves live there. The person I talked to in the investigations department told me that the return will be denied if they use their own label. Make sure you message the scammer and tell them all this before authorizing the return so it is recorded.

I also arranged to have my returned package with that label (if it ever arrives) to be held at the post office so I can open it in front of the postal inspector. If it contains anything besides the processor I sent, including the same serial number, then I will file a mail fraud report against the warehouse/forwarding center.

Do you mind sharing your eBay username? The representative I’m speaking to on Twitter could not find that user ID. I’m trying to help him realize that this is not an isolated incident. If you don’t feel comfortable posting your username here, do you mind posting a thread on eBay forums board? Thanks

Great news! Scammer Navj-96 got banned from ebay - Scamming Intel CPU processors. If any of you are having this same problem mention username Navj-96 to eBay via phone or twitter (https://twitter.com/askebay?lang=en)

Its settled on eBay, not sure if im going to have to deal with Paypal next. Time will tell. Thanks

Just a heads up on that address also. It looks to be a warehouse. And when you Google map that address you can see it's an industrial area.

If you see something about this that there is a third party usage automatically eBay will not cover any type of request. :)

Posted about 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

I spoke too soon. Scammer NAVJ-96 somehow managed to upload a new tracking number. I’m currently working with eBay to get this resolved.

Posted about 2 months ago by 172.68.X.X Report as SPAM

With your concern about 'navj-96' if the item was sent to a forwarding address, automatically eBay Money back Guarantee will be voided for the buyer. So they can completely close the case/request after the 3 business days seller make it right period.

Posted about 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

Regarding navj-96 - yes, i just spoke with ebay and they said the buyer doesnt qualify for a refund because of the forwarding address. However, there is still a return open that shows the new fake tracking number as 'delivered'. I'll keep an eye on my paypal and see what happens.

Posted about 2 months ago by 172.68.X.X Report as SPAM

Good, for any further question you can ask me just type in '@KINGJ' and then your questions.

Posted about 2 months ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

Fell victim to this scam from a buyer at this address, reported it to eBay upon finding this webpage before authorizing return. eBay told me they would investigate but also told me to authorize return. I did, and sure enough, scam happened as described above. Sure enough, eBay refunds the buyer automatically, even though my return case was "being investigated". Had to call USPS and eBay and waste a couple hours of my time to get refunded. Presumably, the buyer has already withdrawn the money and run.

eBay is either unwilling or incapable of dealing with this ongoing scam. The company can't protect its sellers. I'm glad I'm not an eBay shareholder; they're getting screwed too.

Posted 19 days ago by 162.158.X.X Report as SPAM

You’re seriously scamming people and then you say we are hurting you’re feelings? You have good hearts? You are scum, taking what’s not yours and going through great lengths to take from people are already struggling. That’s not a good heart, that a selfish, shameless, and pridless person. If you can do that people then your heart is black and you deserve to die so that good people can benefit from your human organs that were wasted on scum like you.

Yeah the audacity of these Chinese scammers that are blatantly admitting to scamming people is an absurdity of life I cannot believe that these people deserve to go to jail or burn in hell
