| Details: | Purchased industrial Leica Surveying Tripod on ebay, claims it was damaged in transit and demands a full refund. On return the damage to the tripod could only have occurred if the leg had been rotated 180 degrees then forced down to snap the hinge (impossible for this to in transit as tripod legs were tightly strapped together and wrapped in a tube). Part of the tripod was missing (a Leica plumb bob), when repeatedly asked to return item no response from buyer. Concluded the buyer fake purchased item, just to steal the plumb bob accessory. Reported to ebay who surprisingly released all the suspended Paypal funds back to us. Most have a lot of 'prior' if ebay decided to do this and support the seller. |
