Details: | I sold a very expensive item to someone else and they tried to say they were them and get me to change the address last minute to the address I reported. Fortunately I called eBay and they said not to make any changes. They said they will block this person from my account and suspend the account |

Well your smart enough to know it was an obvious scam. Never ship (1) until the funds are in your bank account and (2) never to an address you cant confirm. In the cases of non receipt of merchandise. its your responsibility to prove the item went to the confirmed address. Send a collections letter and a letter saying your going to charge the person with fraud and petty larceny. Look up the persons info name to address and then address to name to see if the name is real. if not then use the name on the address lookup. there are tools on the internet to show you that.
