| Details: | Kenneth Martin purchased 3 monitors from me and claimed after having the monitors in his possession for four months they have bad pixels (the monitors were used when purchased, with no returns and no refunds ... I am being forced by PayPal to pay him back for items that were in working condition when they left my site. I am not a business, just a mom trying to make a little money on the side to feed my family. Having to pay back over $500 dollars is really going to hurt my family. Thanks a lot Kenneth Martin, I hope you sleep good at night taking food out of people's mouths. Stay away from this buyer ...WARNING... stay away from this buyer !! |

I sold 3 computer monitors to Kenneth Martin through eBay back on August 5, 2019 (Item ID: 202671045158). When I shipped the monitors to Mr. Martin it was with the (3) original boxes and packaging from DELL, (3) Monitors, Monitor Stand (Height adjustable and can be rotated for use in landscape or portrait mode), Cable Cover, Power Cable, DP Cable (MiniDP to DP), USB 3.0 Upstream Cable (Enables USB Ports on the Monitor) manuals and software) and documentation. eBays' policy is after 30 days if a claim is not placed all is fine. Everything seemed fine until November 15, 2019, when Mr. Martin went to PayPal and filed a dispute against me stating that the used monitors he purchased were not as described. A full three months later (so he used my equipment for all that time free of charge and got all of his money back and now I have three monitors I can't use or resell).

As of today, I received the monitors and they were not in the original packaging, none of the documentation or software and some of the cables were missing. The monitor stands were disassembled (they didn't come from me or DELL like that) and most of the screws are missing (so I have no way of putting them back together to try to recoup any money).
During the process of waiting for PayPal to decide whether I was going to win the dispute or not I did some research on Mr. Martin and it turns out that he has a history of place claims like this. His company BlueFish Worx out of Texas has many cases/claims like this on the Better Business Bureau of TX.
Anyways, PayPal decided in his favor because he sent me the monitors back. Know that they are useless to me now. In my opinion, he and his company should be banned from eBay and PayPal for life.

UPDATE: So today is January 29, 2020
I was told by PayPal that Mr. Martin would return a partial payment of $384.22 to my account and as of yet I still am waiting for a return payment. I have been ghosted y'all. I don't know about anyone else but $384.22 is a big deal for me as a stay at home mom all the side money I make helps pay for bills and such. This is ridiculous, This company is a joke.
