Details: | Eight days later after a package was delivered on the front porch, I get a user information request in my email from ebay that was made by the buyer. I then received a direct message from the buyer that said the box was crushed and just now opened it to find the item was broken. It was suspicious because if the box was crushed, wouldn't any normal person check the item right away for damage? He also requested insurance information. Two days later, an ebay return request was opened for an item received as damaged. Seems to me like a game of making me give a full refund, followed by a double dip and collecting insurance from the shipping carrier. Refused to send me photos for proof. Ebay did close the case in my favor and I asked about the details, in which I was told by customer service that the buyer violated policy and when a buyer has a history of abusing sellers in a similar pattern, Ebay tends to rule in the favor for the seller. |
