Buyer purchased a Jade and Rose Quartz Bonsai tree on July 1 2020, and then later requested a cancellation. However, the item had already shipped. Buyer received item on July 7, 202 and open a return request claiming item was damaged. Buyer stated that the branches were damaged. As the item was insured I requested pictures of the damage to file a claim with USPS. The issue was that the branches were made of stone and heavy gauge wire and it was unlikely to be damaged. After I asked for the pictures the buyer closed the return request to avoid a possible mail fraud charge. Buyer was reported to eBay for filing a false claim.
