Messaged me on 01/09 by the name of Gabriel claiming that he or she was in London and needed a camcorder to stream a little amateur basketball team before heading back to Portugal on 08/09.

They figured my camcorder was a little too pricey so they wanted a SPECIAL discount. I suppose being on eBay for 9 months with absolutely 0 feedback warrants a special discount.

Despite my constantly telling them that I cannot accept offers below what I was asking and even provided them links to camcorders priced way below mine, they were relentless and even asked if I can personally deliver the camcorder an address they gave me located near Paddington.

In the end, I accepted their final offer but told them they would have to collect the item because I do not personally deliver to places I've never been before. And, wouldn't you know it? They suddenly stopped messaging me.

I suppose they weren't too happy to take a 24 minute drive from Paddington to Fulham when they were happy to go from Portugal to London.

I took a look into the buyer's profile and noticed they have been relisting a Sony camcorder for months from Portugal with no sales. It looks brand new and the price is three times lower than their competitors.

I'm not even sure this person's name is Gabriel. And, if you ever have the misfortune of encountering this yellowbelly snake on eBay, run fast in the opposite direction.
