This is nuts. I was just hacked. I contacted both PayPal and eBay, and neither seemed particularly concerned and said my bank would sort it. I hope my bank's financial fraud unit cares more than PayPal and eBay as this needs to be shut down.

I Canceled Sale on Ebay and Ebay immediately Canceled the Order. PayPal immediately issued a credit to the Buyer and adjusted my account.

Thereafter, I went to Ebay "Seller Hub", then down to Short Cuts, to Block Bidders (Blocked Bidder/Buyer List) and added the squirrelly User Name above. I block Buyers I have problems with to avoid retaliation.

I have a small business and my store flagged a recent purchase as 'Fradulent' I did a quick google search for the address and I'm glad I did. It looks like they've added another name to their list:

I put up my old iPhone 7 on eBay, they won the auction but it took them a week to pay. I did the get the money but also spammed with a ton of junk mail, I have a pretty robust spam filter with custom rules I made so it got 95% of it. Each was fraud.
One, Paypal held the payment for 24 hours, then gave approval and the day after I shipped at 3am, I got a payment not authorized. Probably the scammer attempting to get his money back after I shipped. Paypal paid me anyway.

One of them the scammer did an item not received. That didn't work since I ship UPS and had already entered the tracking number. That one came back to Paypal not authorized after about 61 days and I still kept my money.

One of them, the guy tried to get me to ship it to a different Unit at the same address. I refused. That buyer actually had been around for a few years, told me later his ebay account was hacked.

My story is similar to others that have been posted. I saw a charge for $324 on my Visa to back an Indiegogo campaign. I disputed the charge since I hadn't backed anything on Indiegogo for about a year. The card was canceled. I tried to log on to Indiegogo to see what had happened but I suppose whoever hacked me changed the password of course. After contacting Indiegogo I was able to reset my password and I found that the $324 was for a watch that I of course didn't order. Wow... I just had an order cancelled on me because of this nonsense. As mentioned repeatedly, this is an address of a forwarding company (Meest.US). Each foreign customer gets assigned a "suite number" by them -- that's how they know, which account to contact for each arriving parcel. The have multiple locations in the US -- many prefer the Delaware one because there is no sales tax there.

To vent, I went through the messages above and reported each message, which had the name of a SUSPECTED Ukrainian, as "spam".

Found this rat using the email smog1336@yahoo.com to hack into this computer. The email was found in Trend Micro and when I searched the email it lead me here, where another user stated that smog1336 had hacked them as well. $1200 was spent on Amazon for gopros, and multiple gift cards were also bought. Someone used my Paypal account to buy an expensive item in the UK shipped to this Deleware mailing address using my name and email. I reported it to the merchant and also to Paypal. Beware of fraud.

Recently happened on my WISH account. This guy added a mastercard onto my account and added this old capital address except he changed 0 to O and had all the Ls as l. which I think I caught it in time because I'm constantly on wish just kind of looking at stuff. He added this info on Jan 30, 2022 and i discovered it Feb 1, 2022 in which I deleted all that information and contacted support and changed my password. I don't think they actually got a chance to order anything.

Buyer is Stephen Stringas Ebay name is stestri-49, but Ebay person name and address to ship to is Sakinna Wilcher 3601 Old Capitol Trail Unit A-7, Suite 160649 Wilmington DE 19808-6042 web search found this is storage facility and this address is being used by scammers from Ukraine...they use stolen credit cards and Ebay info to steal items and have them shipped there using different names and different suite numbers...core address info stays the same. I cancelled this transaction, and I am going to block this buyer.

Received an offer on a laptop I'm selling on ebay. Buyer had 100% rating with 35 feedback. I started looking at the sellers they bought from and they all sold low priced random collectibles. I also noticed their account was opened in March 2022 and location on their profile had "in Kazkhstan"

Under the offer the 'ships to' address showed 19808-6042, Wilmington, DE. Googled that and that led me here. GADDAMN.

Thank you all for providing feedback. I mean sure this person could be a legit buyer using the forward shipping service... but I'm not going to risk the headache.

Just had the same thing. I contacted ebay and they advised me to cancel the order and assured me there would be no negative impact to my account. I also submitted a report against the buyer. Glad to have come across this site.

This person hacked into my Farfetch account and tried to ship something using my credit card. Luckily Amex helped.

I work for an ebay seller, and we ship to this address ALL the time, most often to Ukrainian customers. We have not had any problems with the address or the buyers. Since this is a forwarding service, we are ONLY responsible for shipping to the address. As such, we often require a signature for confirmation of delivery, and this covers us within ebay's policies. If the item is lost or broken in transit from the forwarder to their location overseas, that is their problem and they need to contact the forwarding company. Ebay will NOT force us to do anything after it is confirmed as received at the shipping location that is provided by the buyer. Hope this helps others make informed decisions.

this address has been attempted to be used over a dozen times in the last month on our ebay sold items. We deny them every single time. Contrary to what the comment above me states, ebay has given us headache after headache with not only this address but others, thus we no longer ship to ANY forwarder companies and only allow international if its via eBay's global shipping program.

So far this year, we're out a few thousand dollars because of ebay siding with buyers and further siding with them AFTER several appeal attempts. Do NOT ship to this address or anything similar to it. We're lucky we're a successful business, but a small time person doing this just to make some side money, a few thousand could be devastating in product.

99% of these are scams from scammers in Armenia and Ukraine. If you like to roll the dice, it's your call but the odds are against you. I cancel them 100% of the time - risk - reward ratio not worth it.

a lot of people want to buy something on eBay but they are not in US and seller make shipping only US area

that people go to Meest company which gives them an address with diff suite, when user buy something on eBay it will be delivered to Meest address and particular unit - after that a parcel will be delivered to end user to his country

so, its not a scam...sorry

Buyer wanted six brand new photos of the AirPods before shipping. Had to approve of the photos before item was to be shipped. Once got item tried to say I never sent photos ( sent through ebay messenger ) and he will return the item. Then somehow the item got delivered to 824 North Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19808. Be very aware of this address and anyone who tries to use it.

We run stand-alone retail websites. We just got a credit card chargeback on an order shipping to a suite at this address. Good thing it is a custom item and we haven't shipped it yet.
