Details: | Item was listed as having a few scratches. Buyer complained that the item had scratches and would reboot randomly (which wasn't an issue). They were told that they could return the item or I was willing to give a 25% discount if they would like. Buyer never responded after multiple attempts to determine their preference. Buyer escalated case to eBay. Ebay authorized a return (which I had already agreed to). Item was not sent to my address, but a different address. Ebay initially found in my favor, but the Buyer appealed to eBay. eBay reversed the case and refunded the money to Buyer even though item wasn't returned to me. I needed to go thru a lot of effort with the USPS to prove delivery wasn't to my address. Ebay refunded me the price, after proving that the item was never received by me, but returned to the Buyer because of a manipulated return label and the fact that the Buyer had the money and item. |
