Details: | This person bought a refurbished item from our company's eBay store back in April 2019 and had no issues with the item. Unfortunately, when he purchased another refurbished item from us again in May 2019, the item was slightly damaged during transit. He sent us a couple of pictures, but since the damage was not clear on the picture, we politely offered to have our technician to speak with him to solve the issue, which was a standard protocol for our company. He rudely responded with, "I don't need help," and refused to cooperate. He proceeded to yell at our technician on the phone while demanding the parts to be shipped to him. Our company never responded to this guy in any ill manner, even after his rude behaviors. We agreed to send parts to the buyer after he cussed at our technician on the phone. The buyer continued to verbally assault our company and our technician through messages after we provided him the tracking number for the parts we were mailing him. This buyer kept throwing false claims (and also a tantrum) about the item's condition, accusing us of lying. He also claimed to be on eBay for many years and used his "100% positive feedback score" as a tool, trying to prove that we were wrong and he was right. Honestly, this does not prove anything because eBay does NOT allow sellers to leave negative or neutral feedback to buyers. Sellers are forced to leave positive feedbacks only, so of course, no buyers will have a feedback score lower than 100%. This person not only shows the problem of eBay's feedback system but also shows his aggressive and problematic personality. His hostility did not stop after we mailed out his parts; he demanded to know why he had not received the parts in a threatening tone when he could have just entered the tracking number on UPS himself. Feel free to take the risk to sell to this person, but be prepared for endless harassment and aggressiveness if anything does not go his way. |
