I did NOT break it. It came to me already cracked when received. We opened it and was looking it over and noticed the hinge was cracked, closed it and I was going to show my wife and it completely broke at that time. The fact that they filed this 9 months after it happened is bull. There is no way it was properly inspected before shipment as they said or it would have been noticed.
