This buyer contacted me on July 23rd stating that he had a few of my items in his cart and that he was intending to buy them. Later that night, he purchased 3 items and paid for them for about $98 total. I was going to ship on July 25th and his address didn't come up in the USPS system exactly as it was listed on the order details, so I contacted him to confirm the correct address. The buyer promptly responded to confirm that the address was correct.

I shipped the items, they were received, and the buyer left me glowing positive feedback. All seemed well.

About a week and a half later, the buyer requested a chargeback with his credit card company against this transaction, claiming that it was an "unauthorized" purchase. ???? OK, clearly this buyer is trying to rip me off and get his money back AND keep the items - out of buyer's remorse, or whatever reason. I have no idea, because the buyer did not contact me at all - he simply tried to reverse charges. But this was most certainly not an unauthorized purchase, given that I had quite a bit of correspondence with the buyer, and he even left me positive feedback!!!

Anyhow, PayPal released the funds that were held once I provided the blatantly clear evidence that the buyer was well aware of this purchase long before claiming that this was an unauthorized purchase, and was notified that I am covered under seller protection because I met the PayPal Seller Protection requirements.

At any rate - beware this buyer. He clearly is a dishonest person and won't bat an eye about reversing charges on you as he sees fit. I am strongly considering reporting this thief to the FBI.
