Buyer claimed that used sewing machine part that she purchased was new reproduction.

After I told her that the picture showed they were old (rust, wear marks, chipped paint, etc), she then claimed that the part was defective. However, so-called defect is typical of the used, 50+ year old part.

Returned money as ebay "seller protection" is a worthless joke.

MessageThis is what the listing description said. What are you talking about? SINGER 1940s-1950s Balance Wheel with wide diameter belt run (approximately 3.5" diameter, see photos). These were originally used on models such as the 66, 99, and Spartan to allow the weaker motors of the time to sew heavier materials. This wheel will not fit on older models (i.e. 1910s-1930s models 15, 127, 128, 66, 99, etc.) that have a 'shorter' belt guard designed to accommodate the standard diameter spoked and solid handwheels. Balance wheel is original c1950s, the other parts (washer, lock nut, lock screw) are newer aftermarket.
