Buyer was aware that payment was due at end of appointment. At end of appointment Michael decides to have me invoice some person named Steve.

He hired me to work approximately 24 hours on a website design for $1200. His partner Steve agreed to my contract via email. He asked me for account info to send deposit so I gave him my address and bank account information. This was 25 days ago. Once I sent bank info to Steve him and Michael never responded back. Michael doesn't seem to have caller ID so when I call him he answers and then hangs up on me. Couldn't be more unprofessional if he tried. He always claims he is busy and in and out of meetings. It's become a very tired excuse when it only takes 1 minute to pay someone via paypal (on computer or mobile device). I have text messaged him about 15 times without a single response. Michael has told me repeatedly he would pay me in a few and hasn't. Steve said he would send it as well. They owe me a $300 for a $1200 job because I drove to Michael's [fake rental] office in Encino and worked with him on the website for 5 hours.

They have a lot of different domains pointing to the same website so their SEO is in the toilet. They hired a pro to fix their web presence and instead decide to do it cheap. The consequence will now be not being found on google. Not very intelligent if you ask me.

When I call the number for Michael's CFO Steven Mann the answering services identifies itself as Equity Executive Offices. They are doing business as Equity Artists Agency (grammatically incorrect). Seems like a fly by night operation to try and con people out of their money.
