Details:

Buyer purchased my late 2011 MacBook Pro along with the Apple MagSafe Power Adapter and the Apple Power Adapter Extension Cable off of eBay.

Immediately after winning the auction, Buyer demanded a discount off the total purchase price. I unfortunately said ok and gave a $20.00 discount.

Items are shipped to Buyer the next business day after payment.

Buyer begins to complain that the Apple MagSafe Power Adapter is the wrong voltage, even though it's the one that came from Best Buy when I purchased the MacBook Pro.

Shortly after, Buyer begins to complain about "graphics issues" with the MacBook Pro. I tested the MacBook Pro immediately before shipping and it never had any issues.

Buyer contests the transaction on Paypal, and Paypal like they always do, finds in favor of the Buyer, refunds Buyer the money, and informs Buyer to return the items.

If this was it, I wouldn't be as angry but here's what happens when I received my items back.

I receive a MacBook Pro and a Apple MagSafe Power Adapter. The Apple Power Adapter Extension Cable was missing and the Apple MagSafe Power Adapter was a different version than the one I shipped.

I inspected the MacBook Pro. The bottom of the MacBook Pro had various screws missing and there were signs that it had been opened. Furthermore, my MacBook Pro started having memory issues with the MacBook Pro running out of memory very quickly.

Based on the above, it appears that Buyer pretended to purchase my items only to strip it of pieces and components. Her eBay page shows she sells various used apple parts and products.

PLEASE be careful of this Buyer. I tried to provide negative feedback on eBay but the Buyer convinced eBay to remove the review. I strongly warn all of you to take precautionary measures in the event this Buyer attempts to purchase any of your eBay auctions.

Thats one of the reasons why you place a disclaimer that says certified professionals only for the warranty coverage. Its obvious right off the bat you were being screwed over by this buyer. Give an inch take a mile. Never negotiate with a stranger or a first time buyer! They just want to see what they can get away with. Dont agree to anything, stick to your policies and never budge.
