Much the same process as I detailed in my previous report (http://badbuyerlist.org/buyer/6ed97d36d1eb09fabef69e3c) - same person (name slightly different), nearly same address in Israel, (though he is in UAE) different emails and eBay names.
This time it was for Coffee pods, value £170.85 including shipping. I was suspicious of address and once again did not respond to messages, emails or calls. Notified eBay as I noticed he was "no longer a registered user" and PayPal & eBay were looking into it when he once again raised a charge-back. I did not send any goods of course but of course yet again PayPal sided with buyer as I could not provide tracking so I was charged their £14 charge back fee and eBay and PayPal fees were of course not refunded. So much easier I guess to side with thieves and scanners and profit from their activity at the seller's expense. Altogether I have lost nearly £75 in non-refundable fees with these two transactions. His other purchase was for £105 using different eBay profile but nearly same name, address, number etc. I'm sure with this encouragement from eBay & PayPal he will be making a habit of it! Today I just had to send him another Whatsapp message, it reads:

Hi there, just thought I would update you on that ugly issue I raised with you before. I do hope you weren't scammed on eBay and PayPal like I was over those cowardly transactions I drew your attention to. Remember the Ebay and PayPal ones I told you about? With this cell number associated with them? For parcels to Ramallah? I do hope you didn't get swindled too, the good news is that, due to vastly improved cross-border co-operation, the authorities are making good progress in tracing these con artists...Apparently it is only one person with possibly more than one IP address but they are close to nailing the exact location apparently. I did mention you were possibly another victim so you should expect a knock on the door anytime soon. If you have been scammed it's OK to say so, it's only by us working together that these criminals and thieves hiding in the murky shadows of the online world can be rooted out.
