Toxic customer wouldn't work with me at all in resolving this matter. His package wasn't showing up through USPS ground, which can happen once in a while. But in stead of talking to me like a normal person, he almost immediately accused me of fraud over a 30 dollar game.. Not sure why anyone would waste effort over a 30 dollar game FFS, but whatever. I tried to ask if he'd like me to submit a lost package request, so USPS could search for the item and I could start a USPS claim. From that point on he simply ignored me and started a claim with Ebay. This person is impatient and rude, and I wouldn't waste your time with him as I suspect he's actually the liar as he wouldn't share "a letter from USPS regarding his package" to me. He likely attempted to get the game and the insurance and the return money in all from this scheme.

Whether he's legit or brain damaged, I wouldn't take a chance with this guy as he's gonna stress you out either way and leave a bad comment, no matter how much you try to work with him.
For clarity, I've reposted our messages. Please keep in mind if reading that you need to start from the bottom for the timeline to be correct.
I tried my best to help this dude out, but he was determined to be rude.
Please note, I never once claimed I wouldn't refund him. I simply wanted to start a USPS claim the correct way and he wouldn't help me in doing so.

Best luck on your shopping or selling adventures!

"I still haven’t received my item. I opened a case with USPS and they said they do not have the item. Seller refuses to refund. [Not true at all, I never made that statement.] I have a letter from USPS that states: after a thorough investigation the station has verified that your package has “NOT” been delivered to your residence location. We also confirmed with the carrier. We apologize for the non-receipt of your package. We recommend you contact the sender of your item immediately. You can supply them with a copy of this letter as proof that you have filed a claim of non-receipt to the USPS. Your vendor can use this letter as supporting documentation for a claim. "

"Despite how you are being, I will start a lost package search on your behalf. I will let you know when USPS responds. Until then, I will continue to submit tracking updates, and I will also repost the tracking updates below. They checks all of our correspondence, so don't worry. They know everything that has been said. The latest USPS tracking update is the top. "So you're telling me you don't want me to start a USPS lost package search? "

"Don’t worry about the letter being fake. I never said I won’t show it to eBay, simply said I won’t post it for you, so that you can figure out a defense to this scam. Of course I have to provide it to eBay. That’s my evidence and proof that I never received it nor was it at the post office when I went in person. You do as you wish. I’m just waiting on the one week protocol eBay has in place before they can mediate and get involved. "

"I can start a lost package request today if you haven't gotten it yet. But it may be easier if you talk to the people at the post office in stead of making up a fake letter you won't show. Let me know if you'd like me to start a lost package search. "
"No, I did not scam you. Not sure how I could do that when I literally shipped the item. USPS is the one responsible for delivery. I actually believe you're trying to scam me, since you're making up things about a letter you won't even explain or upload. lol. "
Buyer Message
"I’d rather not upload a picture. Seems like you scammed me. So I’ll let eBay get involved. Been over a week and apparently no one knows where the package is. "
Your message
"They gave you a letter? Will you upload a pic of it here, please? "
Buyer Message
"I did go to post office today to pick it up and they don’t have it. They gave me a letter"
Your message
"I know it's taking a bit long, but weather has delayed a lot of USPS shipments. Please allow for more time for the item to be delivered. You may be able to go directly to your local post office to directly pick up the item, as it should be at the post office awaiting delivery. "
You updated tracking details.
Buyer didn't receive the item.
"USPS claims item was never shipped. [Again, this isn't true. There is active updates to the tracking..] Have a letter from USPS stating that after a thorough investigation the station has verified non-receipt of package. "

Had to submit an appeal to ebay to get his negative BS comment removed. But showed them the tracking and it was done. Also got the sale money back. So this guy only succeeded in being a lame Karen. -- I would have taken care of him like normal but he had to immediately escalate and make it complicated. -- Please take this as a sign that being kind and patient can go a lot further than being a Karen.
