This customer returned an item he bought, indicating "not as described" on the Walmart site. Because of the reason code he used, Walmart charged us for the return shipping and this caused a defect rating on our perfect performance score that we have had for years. When the item was returned, it was not even opened. This person chose "item not as described" so that he did not have to pay for the return shipping. As a result, it has affected our business with Walmart. Now with a defect rating of "an item not as described" on our record, we no longer have the advertising exposure we use to have on the site. Walmart now looks at us as poor performer, and we loose our ranking perks. This is now affecting the exposure we get on Walmart, and affects our business, all because this man was too cheap to pay return postage.
