I put up an auction for my old ipbone with a Buy it Now with a high price point of $250, thinking no one would pay for a used ipbone for that much. Well, Charles did. And he promptly paid for it. I was so happy to have a quick payment I messaged him thanking him for that. Then he replies and says that he wanted a refund and no longer wanted the phone. So I replied back and said "if you read the listing it says "no refunds". So he replied back as asked if I can ship it overnight and he would pay the difference. Great, I think. Though odd that he would flip his decision 180 degrees. He later messages me with this incoherent set of instructions to get the cheapest possibly overnight rate from Fedex. It didn't make sense to me so I showed the clerk at Fedex and he said he couldn't decipher it either and helped me get an inexpensive ship rate of $62. Well, Charles paid me $11 so after doing the math I thought I would knock off a couple of bucks so I send him a paypal invoice for $45 which I think is fair. Oh not to Charles though. He then sent me several angry messages telling me that I should know better, that I should have followed his instructions and that $60 is outrageous and he ships phones all the time for $12 overnight. He then tried to make me sympathize that he paid so much for my phone. Yes $250 is a lot. No I didn't force his finger to click the "buy it now" button. So he REFUSES to pay the $45 because he believes my naïveté should not be rewarded. Mind you, I'm not an eBay seller for a living. I was simply trying to get rid of my old phone. I explain this to him and he just won't stop the harassment. He told me he would pay $19. Where that figure came from I don't know. But I decided his drama wasn't worth my time. I know I could have went through ebay dispute center to teach him a lesson but it really wasn't worth it. So let it be known.
