Buyer claimed the envelope was empty. The message sent was an accusation that I sent an empty envelope. That was so pre-medicated. No concern that maybe an honest mistake was made. I am 100% feedback seller and I know I carefulle packaged the item. The postal worker helped me to determine if the item was causing an envelope to be too thick for the sorting machine so I know the envelope was not empty. Nonetheless, the user did not ak me if the item was still in my posession. No indication they still wanted to get this item. It was a replacement part for a keyboard so if they did not receive it, and no other person had one for sale one ebay at the time, why didn't the buyer ask me if I still had it and mistakenly forgot to put in the envelope? I refunded the buyer to preserve feedback but reported him to the fraud dept of ebay. Alot of good that does. They say they will investigate but also claim I cannot know the results of their decision or action taken. So I get no closure. I petitioned to get my money and I won that via PayPal. They know full well this empty box or envelope scam is well known. I never knew until this happened. But I will make sure I do something even though ebay did not. That user should be banned. But I think it is ebay employees with user accounts possibly doing it. Maybe not. But they did not sanction the user as the account is still active. My investigation reveals enough to prove this user is guilty. But ebay has their own agenda that does not always provide justice. The postal worker knows that enevelope was with an item as they helped me with this and the buyer never said they did not receive it. They immediately accused me of sending an empty envelope and said they can't believe I did this for $4. My sntiments exactly. Why would I, a 100% feedback seller/buyer scam a buyer who has only bought and never sold 1 thing. This is one of the things I see alot. Buyers with no record of selling. Probably because they sell with a separate account. Deviants. Scam artists. I'm watching out now. I video every time I package an item now. Nobody is getting the best of me and this user will be exposed if it takes all of my efforts. They deserve to be exposed for what they did.
