Details: | Oh boy where do I start with this guy.. This guy sent me probably 15 different ebay messages before he committed to buying. Usually that's a tip off that there will be a future problem. So after he felt comfy, he bids and wins. He purchased a vintage mint condition bang and olfson turntable that was my dad's from me on ebay. The thing was cherry. I packaged it in 2 very sturdy boxes including the original packaging from 1978. It shipped with tracking and insurance from USPS. Figured it was all good. He then sends me 2 emails, first one was basically buyers remorse, the other was stating that this was in garbage condition and he needs to send it back. I knew it was cherry, and figured i'd resell it with no prob. I get the thing back in a week later. The player was destroyed. Not from shipping, buy this a-hole stripped/swapped parts off it for a diff player and sent me back the player in pieces. The lid was cracked and broke, platter was all bent, motor wasnt working right ect.. On top of that, he left a white t-shirt soaked with old spice inside that was insanely smelly. So I ripped him a new one, he got all defensive. I told him he wasn't getting a refund, he got mad threatened me back ect ect. He paid $125 for this. I gave him a $75 credit back and after painstakingly rebuilding this with his s*itty swapped parts, I resold it on ebay for $100. I still made the money off it, but it was a horrible transaction. Avoid and block this buyer from your auctions. |
