Details: | At the time of my transaction with this individual, I had been successfully selling on Ebay for several months without a single bad experience. In this case, I had listed some brand new Ugg Boots for sale, with the original box included, and I even went so far as to take pictures of inner soles to prove that they had never been worn. This user (kisha193) immediately opted to buy them. I received payment promptly through paypal, and as soon as it was verified, I shipped the Ugg boots to her. At this point, there was no cause for concern. However, a few days later, this user sent me a private message claiming first that the boots she had received were worn out and cruddy, which was clearly erroneous, as I had pictures to prove that they were clean and brand new. At this point, I could see she was trying to pull a fast one on me, perhaps due to buyer's remorse. Even though all my listings clearly stated "No Refunds," I told her that I would refund her money if she sent back the boots, provided that she pay all shipping costs. In response, she began to bombard me with hostile messages, and even changed her story to claim that the boots were fake and counterfeit items, which was an absolute lie. She then opened a fraudulent "item not as described claim" against me, even as she continued to send me incoherent, hostile messages. I explained my side of the story to eBay and even sent them photographic evidence, something that she never did. I fully expected eBay to take my side, but it was clear early on that eBay's policy was to side with the buyer. Ultimately, eBay froze the Paypal payment and forced me to pay for a return shipping label for her to ship the boots back. eBay gave her 30 days to return the boots, and even though she exceeded that period, they still let the refund go through and returned her money. To my surprise, the boots were returned, and they were in perfect condition, just as I had sent them, proving she had simply abused the system. She went on to leave negative feedback on my page, but as is eBay's policy, I was unable to leave anything on her page to warn other sellers. Two other sellers have also reported problems with her on her page (disguised as positive feedback), and I would strongly advise you against doing business with this person. |
