The buyer bought a perfume which was used and the current defect was described, the listing also stated do not buy if you were not happy and no returns would be accepted.
In 5 days after receiving the item, I got a message she decided it was fake and claimed a refund. I refused, the case was opened against me and ebay, as it always does, made a decision in buyer's favour and made me to make a refund.
I got the item back, not in the condition it was sold, it had a broken lid and fainted print on the bottle.
A wee bit later I noticed this person buying and selling rare perfumes at amazingly expensive prices. The conclusion is: The buyer got my item, decided it would be impossible to sell it at the price she expected and invented a great story to be able to make a return.
I am an ebay member since 2006 and this is just a shock for me. How can ebay protect such buyers and let down its loyal members??!
Other time I will have to think twice if I really want to use ebay with its unfair rules and dishonest buyers!
