Details: | Recurring issue with certain buyers in the Dominican Republic who are using freight forwarders in an attempt to manipulate return processes. These buyers initiate return requests but do not use the return label provided by eBay. Instead, they upload their own tracking information, which often turns out to be false. They then claim to have returned the item, and eBay’s system automatically issues a refund based on this uploaded tracking. The tracking information they provide does not match my zip code or delivery location, indicating that the item was never actually returned to me. This is a serious issue, especially in cases like a recent order for an iPhone 13 Pro Max valued at approximately $600. These fraudulent returns not only result in financial losses for sellers but also undermine trust in the platform |
