Same thing happened here. Dennis Dat Do bought a camera from me on Aug 5, 2011. The camera was shipped on Saturday 8/6/2011 by UPS 2nd day air and delivered on Tuesday 8/9/2011. I did not hear any complaints from the buyer until he started a chargeback on 11/24/2011 3.5 months later. I emailed the buyer to ask what was wrong with the order through amazon message system but no reply. Amazon defended the case for me and now he started another charge back in Feb 2012.
