Details: | This individual purchased a computer on eBay. The listing mentioned that the computer was covered under Lenovo warranty. However, the buyer is from South Korea. When he received the computer he found out that the warranty is not valid in South Korea. The buyer demanded that I pay him 50% of the cost of customs charges and the return shipping costs he paid. This is because I didn't specify that the warranty is not valid in South Korea!! After the buyer returned the computer and was issued a refund, he left a negative feedback. |

Well immediately, you should of never shipped to a country that has a high rate of fraud. As for as that idiot filing the dispute and demanding you pay for something that was clearly his problem and fault, tell him to go F - himself, even write it in Korean! Try to get ebay to remove the feedback based on your documentation, if youcan prove that the only reason why he did that was the fact of the warranty being his responsiblity to find out, it will be removed.

eBay will never remove a feedback in such a case. According to them this is an 'opinion' and the buyer has the right to express his 'opinion' about the transaction. I no longer ship to South Korea.

Ebay is always buyer sided. Always was - always will. They have made the seller's experience a nightmare. And most recently, they have the balls to tell sellers that they have to pay for return shipping for any buyer that doesnt like the product for any reason. Perhaps adopting to Amazon's BS as well.
If you sell alot of items, you might want to consider moving away from EBay and joining places like Prestostore.com and Ecrater. There you make money, and dont have to put up with Ebay's rules, their BS, and their policies.
